Cristy Linscott Nielsen is a photographer, designer, entrepreneur, and creative storyteller with more than 25 years of experience in branding, e-commerce, photography, and the fashion industry.

After building brands for others throughout her career, Sunshine Tide became her opportunity to create something deeply personal... a lifestyle brand designed around sunshine, adventure, resilience, and the courage to begin again.

The name itself comes from two things Cristy has always loved. Friends and family have called her “Sunshine” for most of her life, and whenever she needs to recharge, you’ll likely find her walking the beach at low tide, searching for seashells. Her adventures in her career and life have become key elements in each collection.

Quiet moments by the water became the inspiration behind Sunshine Tide... a brand rooted in color, kindness, coastal themes and the outdoors, and the belief that even after the hardest seasons, there is always light waiting to return.

Created during a season of reinvention and new beginnings, Sunshine Tide reflects Cristy’s belief that joy is contagious, authenticity matters, and life is too short not to chase what lights you up.
